Ranchi: The auditorium of Audrey House in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand, was seen sharing the ups and downs of the monarchy on Sunday. In the play “Raj Rakta”, the artists brought alive the politics of the royal court and the conspiracies happening behind the king’s back. How the high-ranking officials of the court conspire together to remove the king from the throne, but ultimately do not succeed in it.

Drama festival Nat Rang concludes
The theater festival Nat Rang, organized by the theater organization Matrix, Ministry of Culture, Government of India and the Department of Art and Culture, concluded. The story of the play was about a king who takes some concrete steps for the welfare of his people. Many scholars in the court get hurt by this and start conspiring against the king. They even find it appropriate to kill the king. For this, the king’s brother Nakshatrarai, the king’s wife Gunavati and the state priest Raghupati are also included in the conspiracy. The kingdom rebels join forces with the Mughal rulers to assassinate the king.

Amidst political turmoil the king is assassinated and Nakshatrarai becomes the new king. Nakshatrarai becomes the king and removes all the laws of the old king and implements the laws made by him. The end of the play teaches the society that even after changing the rulers, a prosperous environment is not established. The audience appreciated the performances of artists Sonu Sonar, Shivang Chaubey, Shankar Pathak, Ankita Kerketta, Sharmistha Sharma, Ankit Kumar, Shashwat Chaudhary, Kiranmoy Mahato, Sunny Devgam, Sujal Paswan, Shweta, Sushant Sarin, Girish Dutt, Manikant and Akanksha on stage.
