Mega block will be taken by Asansol Railway Division on Sunday, February 11. Due to which the routes of many trains have been changed while 20 trains of this route have been canceled for Sunday.
Temporary changes in operation of dozens of trains
It has been decided to do non-interlocking work for yard remodeling of Jivanathpur station located on DDU-Prayagraj railway section. In view of this, temporary changes have been made in the operation of dozens of trains including Patliputra-LTT Express. Poomre CPRO Virendra Kumar said that from February 9 to 13, Patliputra-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will be rescheduled to run by 90 minutes from Patliputra. Similarly, on February 9, Patna-Ahmedabad special train will run via Kanpur-Lucknow-DDU, while DDU Subedarganj MEMU passenger train has been canceled from February 9 to 12.
20 trains between Patna and Howrah will remain cancelled.
Mega block will be taken by Asansol Railway Division on Sunday 11th February. Due to this, passengers traveling between Patna and Howrah may have to face problems. According to the information released by Eastern Railway, there will be a mega block of 14 hours 35 minutes on this route on Sunday. Eastern Railway has issued information regarding this. Due to this, 20 trains including Mail Express and local trains have been cancelled. Whereas four other trains including Bande Bharat and Purva Superfast train will be run on a single line. Apart from this, Ara Tata Express, Patna Jasidih Deoghar local train has been short terminated. Akaltakht, Patna Dhanbad Intercity, Raxaul Hyderabad, Patna Puri and Raxaul Howrah trains will be diverted.
Power and traffic block..
On behalf of the Railways, power and traffic block has been imposed on the Jasidih-Simultala railway line from 5:45 am to 7:20 pm in the down rail line and from 7:45 am to 3:15 pm in the up line on Sunday. Work will also be done on the railway bridge near Allahabad, while the block has been taken on the down railway route between Madhupur Vidyasagar station from 6:10 am to 7:20 am and on the up route from 7:30 am to 5:15 pm. Here the work of installing girders will be done on the railway bridge on Jayant river between Madankatta and Joramo Hot. During this time, a team of officers and engineers will be present at the site with full vigilance. All preparations for this have been completed by the Railways. The railway administration has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the passengers.
