It is not necessary to get re-examined after recovery
Dr. Satya also said that after recovering from the virus, it is not necessary to get the corona tested again. He said that during testing it has been found that the corona protein cannot determine whether the virus is still active or not. Therefore, a negative test for the virus is not required to confirm recovery from Corona. Instead the person who has been infected with the virus is advised to self-isolate for seven days from the onset of symptoms. After this period he is no longer contagious and can resume his normal activities without any worry. There is no need to get the test done again to prove that the patient has recovered from the infection.
