Diwali and Chhath Puja Trains: From Bareilly Junction of Northern Railway (NR), the journey to Purvanchal, the country’s capital Delhi and UP’s capital Lucknow on Diwali will be very easy. NR has announced 6 new Puja special trains. All of them will stop at Bareilly Junction. Puja special train 04490/04489 will run between New Delhi-via Bareilly-Darbhanga and Darbhanga via Bareilly-New Delhi. This train will make a total of 6 trips. Train number 04490 New Delhi-Darbhanga special will depart at 7:35 pm on 11, 15 and 18 November and reach Darbhanga at 4:45 pm the next day. In return, 04489 Darbhanga-New Delhi special will depart from Darbhanga at 6 pm on 9, 12, 16 and 19 November and reach New Delhi at 4:40 pm the next day. This Pooja special train with air-conditioned, sleeper and general class coaches will stop at Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Gorakhpur Junction, Narkatiaganj, Raxaul, Sitamarhi stations in both directions. Apart from this, Railways has decided to run 2 special trains between Gorakhpur and New Delhi. Of these, one train (05065-66) Gorakhpur via Bareilly-New Delhi and Gorakhpur via Bareilly-New Delhi Special Express have started operating. This train will reach Bareilly at 7:30 am on November 9 and Moradabad at 8:45 am. After this, it will reach New Delhi at 12 noon via Ghaziabad. On its return journey, it will leave from New Delhi at 2 pm on 9th November and stop at Ghaziabad at 3.00 pm, Moradabad at 6:30 pm, Bareilly at 7:30 pm. After this, via Sitapur, Badhwal, Gonda, Basti, Khalilabad on Friday evening. Will reach Gorakhpur at 4:15. This train will run from Gorakhpur on 15th November and from New Delhi on 9th and 16th November. After this, train (05069-70) Gorakhpur via Bareilly-New Delhi, Gorakhpur via Bareilly- New Delhi Special Express 14, and on November 21, will leave from Gorakhpur at 8 am, reach Bareilly at 5.00 pm, and stop at Moradabad at 6:05 pm. It will start from here via Ghaziabad and reach New Delhi at 10:05 pm. In return, it will leave from New Delhi at 12:30 pm, stop at Ghaziabad at 1:10 am, Moradabad at 4:40 am, Bareilly at 5:50 am and reach Gorakhpur at 2:50 pm on the normal route.
