Aligarh: The district administration has canceled the Jan Jagran Rath Yatra of Adarsh Kotedar and Consumer Welfare Association. ADM City Amit Kumar Bhatt has informed that the applicant Adarsh Kotedar and convenor of Consumer Welfare Association Vijay Vikram Singh had given the permission letter on 08 September in relation to the Rath Yatra and Rally, in which the applicant was promoting the Food Security Act. A rally was to be organized with about 500-700 persons on 20th September from 10 am to 5 pm from Jupiter Lodge, Numaish Maidan to Collectorate, Kishanpur Tiraha via Quarsi.

ADM City told that due to the talks with the administrative officials at the district level and the current fight between the police and the advocates in Hapur district, the State Bar Council called for various types of protests by the advocates while on strike in the entire state. Has gone. In view of Section 144 CrPC applicable in the district, the applicant’s permission for the rally on September 20 is postponed and cancelled. He said that after talks are held with the applicant’s union at the government level, the permission for the said event will be reconsidered. He told that we are getting commission of Rs 90 per quintal. In other states the commission is Rs 200 to Rs 300 per quintal. On this basis, the commission of Kotedars should be decided in Uttar Pradesh also.
Kotedars announced strike
State Vice President of Adarsh Kotedar Organization said that the permission for Rath Yatra on 20th has been cancelled. This is a violation of constitutional rights. He said that if the demands are not met then the Kotedars will stop the distribution of food grains and go on strike. He told that Kotedars are working under the government. They are serving the public and wanted to carry out the Rath Yatra in a peaceful manner. He told that in Uttarakhand, a commission of Rs 180 is being given on one quintal, in Haryana a commission of Rs 200, and in Gujarat a fixed commission of Rs 20,000 is being given. Whereas in UP only Rs 90 per quintal is available. He told that in one area there are 200 to 300 cards on the Kotedar. On which 50 to 60 quintals of food grains are distributed. In which the Kotedar gets only 5 to 6 thousand rupees. In which rent and labor money also has to be paid. In such a situation, how to take care of the family? He told that if the commission of the Kotedars is not increased then the Kotedars will stop distributing food grains and go on strike.
