On Wednesday, the ED raided several locations of the liquor baron and the houses of those associated with him. In this sequence, the house of State Finance Minister Rameshwar Oraon was raided. It is said that his son Rohit Oraon is associated with the liquor business and lives with his father at Ragini Villa in Sarhul Nagar, Bariatu. There is a special discussion in the political corridor after the name of Rohit Oraon surfaced in the liquor business. Especially Congress ministers and MLAs kept gathering information about this matter.
People are surprised to see his name being linked in the liquor case. According to the information, Rohit had transacted money with liquor businessman Yogendra Tiwari. Here, ED officials reached the Finance Minister’s residence at seven in the morning in two vehicles. After entering the house, restrictions were imposed on anyone to come in or out. ED officials kept searching the files and papers related to liquor in his house till late evening.
During that time many people had also reached to meet the Finance Minister. A PDS shopkeeper had come from Palamu to meet him. He said that his PDS license has expired. He had come to meet the minister again to talk about his reinstatement. He had reached his residence in the morning. Stayed there till noon. When he was told that it is not possible to meet the minister today, he returned.

ED officials arrived in two vehicles at eight o’clock on Wednesday morning in flat number-902 of Vasundhara Garden’s A block located at Harihar Singh Road (Morabadi area) of Bariatu and continued raiding there till evening. According to the information, after reaching Vasundhara Garden, took information regarding A-Block and then went to the ninth floor to raid.
The guards below were instructed not to let anyone go upstairs. However, the guards stationed there informed some of the residents about the ED raid. The guards said that the ED officer politely asked for the address and Meher went to the developers’ flat.
