International badminton player Prashant Sinha of Birsanagar, Jamshedpur was murdered by his girlfriend Kajal Suman, a resident of Lohsinghna New Area of Hazaribagh, along with her partner Raunak Kumar, after demanding money. The reason for the murder was Prashant Sinha’s demand for money from his girlfriend Kajal.
Prashant was pressurizing Kajal to return Rs 20 lakh
Prashant Sinha was pressurizing Hazaribagh’s girlfriend Kajal to return the money. According to the information received, Kajal had collected around Rs 20 lakh from Prashant by cheating. Kajal had started a restaurant Atmosphere in Hazaribagh with the fraud money. On which about Rs 20 lakh was spent. Prashant and Kajal have taken money by duping many people.
SSP of East Singhbhum revealed Prashant murder case
While highlighting the murder of Prashant Sinha on Sunday, East Singhbhum SSP Kishore Kaushal told the journalists that on March 11, as part of a conspiracy, Kajal Suman took Prashant to Hazaribagh in a car. She took a car on rent from Hazaribagh itself and reached Sonari. She called Prashant to Sonari by phone and left for Hazaribagh together.

Kajal along with her lover killed Prashant in Hazaribagh.
On reaching Hazaribagh, Kajal called her friend Raunak Kumar Verma. Raunak reached the spot on scooter. After this both of them reached the bed of Raunak Kumar Verma. There was a dispute between Kajal and Prashant regarding money. After this Raunak and Kajal strangulated Prashant to death. After committing the murder, his body was packed in a sack and thrown from the scooter under the Chhadwa bridge.

Prashant’s sister had filed a missing complaint on March 12.
He told that on March 12, Prashant’s sister had filed a missing complaint at Birsanagar police station. After this, a team was formed under the leadership of City SP and the investigation of the case started. During the investigation, a rental car was discovered. The car driver admitted that he had gone to Hazaribagh with Prashant and Kajal. After this the police tried to contact Kajal. But Kajal first tried to trick the police.
Kajal was made face to face with the car driver
Later she also started doing legal maneuvers. But, when the car driver and Kajal were brought face to face, he revealed the truth. After this, Raunak Kumar Verma was arrested on his information. Then the body of Prashant Kumar Sinha was recovered.
Prashant’s watch, mobile and charger recovered
SSP Kishore Kaushal said that Prashant’s wrist watch and mobile charger have been recovered. Whereas the scooter used to hide the dead body after the murder has also been confiscated. The dead body was completely decomposed. A postmortem of the body has been done. After this the last rites took place. The arrested Kajal Suman and Raunak Kumar have been sent to jail in judicial custody.

Befriended Kajal through Facebook
Prashant and Kajal became friends through Facebook in the year 2019. They had gone together to many other places including Delhi. It was Prashant who introduced Kajal to many people. It is known that international badminton player Prashant Sinha of Birsanagar was missing from home since March 11.
Prashant had left the house saying that he was going to Ranchi.
Prashant had told his family to go to Ranchi. Since then his mobile was switched off. On March 12, the sister lodged a missing complaint at Birsanagar police station. Then on March 22, the police registered an FIR of kidnapping and started investigating the case. On Saturday, Prashant’s body was recovered by the police from a plastic sack near Chhadwa bridge in Hazaribagh.
