Trinamool has called for a 24-hour strike on Wednesday in protest against this incident. According to the information received, on Tuesday evening the Union Minister of State for Home was passing through Chowpatty area of Dinhata after campaigning.
Trinamool workers were celebrating the minister’s birthday in Dinhata.
At the same time, All India Trinamool Congress workers in that area were celebrating the birthday of North Bengal Development Minister Udayan Guha. Reportedly the convoy of the Union Minister got stuck in the crowd during that time. The guards of the Union Minister of State allegedly beat up some Trinamool workers in the name of clearing the crowd. After this there was panic in the entire area.

Union Minister scuffles with Bengal Minister
Meanwhile, a scuffle also broke out between the state’s North Bengal Development Minister Udayan Guha and Union Minister of State for Home and MP Nishith Pramanik.
