Difficult journey: The crowd at Patna and Gaya junction increased twice as compared to normal days.

The journey from Patna to Gaya and Gaya to Patna on Sunday was full of difficulties. Even after the end of this festive season, the crowd at Gaya Junction is not ending. Even on Sunday, a crowd of passengers was seen from platform number one to platform number seven of the station. The process of return of migrants is continuing in trains leaving and passing through Gaya Railway Station. More than one lakh 20 thousand railway passengers are traveling through the station every day. On normal days, 50 thousand railway passengers used to travel. It is said that from here there is maximum crowd of passengers going to Delhi, Mumbai, Howrah, Kolkata and there is a lot of crowd in the trains running on these routes.

On Sunday, there was crowd in Mahabodhi Express, Purushottam Express, Doon Express, Kalka Express, Mumbai-Howrah and other trains. There was not even space for feet in the general coaches. On the other hand, a lot of crowd was seen in the passenger trains leaving from Gaya Railway on Kartik Purnima. Crowd of passengers was also seen in the general coaches of other trains including Mahabodhi. RPF and Railway Police teams are continuously deployed to control the crowd.

After the end of Chhath festival, along with the increase in the crowd of railway passengers, the crowd has also increased due to Kartik Purnima. In this regard, Railway Inspector Sushil Kumar said that 500 RPF team and more than 600 Railway Police team have been deployed for the security of railway passengers. Not only this, 65 newly appointed sub-inspectors have also been deployed from Gaya district. Efforts are being made to control the crowd as it continues to increase.
