Deoghar, Ashish Kundan: Deoghar police of Jharkhand arrested Brijnandan Singh alias Dhillon Singh. He was absconding for a long time. Even after leaving the district, he was hiding in his house in Williams Town, Krishnapuri of Deoghar district. Police took action on the secret information and arrested him from his house. It is being told that he was doing land business for the last several years and was away from the police. Two cases of murder are registered against him in Bihar.
Police raided the house and arrested
Acting on a tip-off, the police raided his house and arrested him. He was absconding for several months. According to the police, Dhillon Singh was doing illegal land business for many years in Kunda and other areas of the city. Apart from illegal buying and selling of land, many other serious cases are also registered against him.
Two cases of murder registered in Bihar
Two murder cases are pending against Dhillon Singh in Lakhisarai, Bihar. About one and a half years ago, Dhillon was transferred to district Badar from Deoghar. Despite this, on February 19, he secretly reached Deoghar for his daughter’s wedding. On a tip-off, when the police had gone to raid the marriage hall in Bumpass Town, there was a ruckus and Dhillon had dodged and ran away. Regarding that incident also, three FIRs have been lodged against Dhillon and others in Deoghar Nagar police station.
Three cases were registered against Dhillon in February
City police station regarding the uproar during the raid conducted by the Deoghar Police-Administration on the information of the arrival of the accused who had been transferred to the district, at the daughter’s wedding ceremony on the night of 19 February 2024 in a marriage hall located in the Bumpass Town area of the city. Three separate FIRs have been lodged. According to information received from sources, the first case was registered on the complaint of SDPO Ritwik Srivastava, in which Brijnandan Singh alias Dhillon Singh, resident of Belabagan Durgabari of district Badar accused city police station area, has been made accused. In this case, the accused is accused of being seen at a wedding ceremony in violation of orders. When the police arrived to raid on information about the case, the information was found to be correct, there was ruckus created by unknown people who had arrived at the function, due to which the accused escaped by taking advantage of the crowd and darkness. The accused is accused of coming to the district without permission and attending the function and violating orders.
Accusation of obstructing government work
In the same case, the second FIR was lodged by SI Praveen Kumar in the city police station, in which the accused are accused of obstructing the government work and pushing the police team. In this case, district Badar accused Brijanandan Singh alias Dhillon Singh, along with District Council President Tantan Singh, government bodyguard policemen, several other named and unidentified four dozen people have been made accused.
District Badar accused of giving protection to the accused
The third case related to this was registered on the complaint of SI Anup Kumar, naming District Badar Dhillon Singh along with his sons, the manager of a marriage hall located at Bampas Town and a hotel manager located at Jain Mandir Road and others as accused. The accused are accused of coming to the marriage hall and hotel without orders and taking protection and the manager of the marriage hall along with the hotel and Dhillon’s sons are accused of illegally giving protection to the accused in District Badar.
