Shahid and Azam have been arrested by the police for shooting Iqbal Khan and Dholu Mian, sons of gangster Faheem Khan, at Shiv Mandir Road, Ara Mod Matkuria in Wasseypur under Bank Mod police station area of Dhanbad. Dholu died on the spot, while Iqbal is undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Durgapur. Police had received information that Shahid and Azam were hiding in Wasseypur. Both of them felt that the police would not be able to trace them. Both were caught when the police raided an old house. Raids were conducted at many places on his spot.
By picking up more than half a dozen people, the police is interrogating them at different places. Shahid and Azam have been taken to Bank Mod police station. Many police officers including DSP Law and Order Arvind Binha, Katras SHO Randhir Kumar, Kenduadih SHO Surendra Singh are constantly questioning both of them. According to reliable sources, Shahid and Azam have provided important information to the police.
Went to the temple ground to talk about the land
Police told reporters that Iqbal, Sonu and Dholu were sitting in the KGN complex on Wednesday night. Shahid and Azam came there half an hour before the incident and wanted to talk to Iqbal. Both wanted to talk about some land. Iqbal told them that they should reach the temple ground, the conversation would take place sitting there. Three people including Iqbal reached the ground riding a bike. Sitting there, Iqbal was talking with his two companions. Shortly, Shahid and Azam came riding on a bike. Two youths came on a bike behind them.
The bike rider was wearing a helmet. Hrithik was sitting behind with his face tied with a handkerchief. On seeing Iqbal, the shooter wearing a helmet opened fire on him. One bullet hit Iqbal in the upper part of his stomach. Seeing this, Dholu quickly caught hold of one of the accused. Seeing this, the accused started manhandling him. Then the criminal took out the pistol and pointed it at Dholu’s face and shot him. He fell there. After this, the four accused on both the bikes fled away.
