On Wednesday, only three schools of the city, DAV Public School, Koylanagar, Carmel and De-Nobili School were open. But their attendance was very less. Very few vans had come to school with children. Whereas in Binod Bihari Mahato Koylanchal University and its colleges, PK Roy Memorial College, SSLNT Mahila College, BSS Mahila College, the attendance of students was only 10 to 15 percent.

Objection to school van operation

Dhanbad District School Van Operators Association had called for a bandh on Wednesday. Even after this, on Wednesday some van operators reached school with children. As soon as the association officials came to know about this, they reached Carmel School and objected to the running of the van. On this all the vans were removed from near the school.

Schools will open on Thursday

Except Dhanbad Public School KG Ashram Branch, all the schools of the city will open from Thursday. There will be online classes in Dhanbad Public School KG Ashram Branch on Thursday also. There will be regular classes here from Friday.
