Dhanbad News: A girl from Hariharpur police station area was married 15 days back in Baghmara Mahila police station. Then according to the decided decision, the wedding procession was to come on July 20 to bid farewell to the bride. The bride kept waiting all night. Neither the bridegroom came, nor the procession. Here the bride’s side had made complete preparations for the reception. The angry bride’s side again reached the women’s police station on Friday when the procession did not come.
The bride’s father told the police that the groom’s side is a resident of Khukhra police station area of Giridih district. They had come to his house three-four times last year with a relationship for his daughter. The family members of the girl had also reached the boy’s place. Considering the relationship as firm, the conversation between the young man and the girl started on the mobile. Suddenly the groom’s side refused to marry the girl making serious allegations. The maternal uncle of the groom has an important role in breaking this relationship. The matter reached the women’s police station, Baghmara, where after consent, in the presence of the police, on July 5, a Maulana of Shyamdih conducted a marriage ceremony.

That day the boy’s father said that if we take the bride home now, it will not be a good thing. The boy’s maternal grandfather and grandmother have gone on Haj. If he returns on 16th July, he will reach the bride’s house on 20th July with a wedding procession and on 21st July he will see off the bride and take her home. It will also save respect in the society. The bride’s father had given an invitation to bring a wedding procession on 20 July. Wedding cards were also distributed. After a few days, the boy’s father demanded a four-wheeler and one lakh rupees in cash. On July 20, the bride’s side had made complete preparations according to their capacity for the honor of the baraat. The bride’s side started waiting for the baraat to come in the night. As the night progressed, the bride’s father called the groom’s father several times, but he did not receive the call. On Friday, the groom’s side was called from the Katras Mahila police station and called to the police station, but no member of the house reached.
