Dhanbad : Seven-year-old boy Yug, who was returning from North Loco Tank, Pampu Talab with his father Mahavir, resident of Manitand, after watching the Saraswati Puja fair, died after falling into a well in Watch N Ward, Railway Colony on Wednesday evening. The father jumped into the well to save his son. But he did not get success. There was no water in the well. It is believed that the child may have died due to head injury. According to the information, while returning home at around 7.30 in the evening, the father and son stopped at a cart near the well to eat secretly. The first era ate secretly. Later, father Mahavir made his son sit near the cart near the well and started eating secretly. Meanwhile, the child fell into the well while playing. This well is at the exit of the first colony of Barmasiya main road. Here, some carts sell fruits etc. secretly.
People took the father and son out of the well and sent them to the hospital.
After his son fell into the well, father Mahavir also immediately jumped into the well to save him. After a lot of effort, the local people pulled the father and son out of the well. Later, the father and son were taken by ambulance to a nursing home located on Joraphatak Road. Where after investigation the doctors declared Yug Kumar dead. The father had minor injuries. He took the child’s body and went home.
