Karva Chauth fast is observed on Krishna Paksha Chaturthi date of Kartik month. On Tuesday, the married couples took a pledge to fast. At night, she will observe a waterless fast by performing sargi as per the rules. The brides will remain waterless throughout the day and do sixteen adornments in the evening and worship Chauth Maharani as per the rituals. After listening to the story, the wedding ceremony will take place. After moonrise, she will give arg and after seeing the moon by placing a lamp in a sieve, she will see her husband’s face. After that, she will break her fast by taking water from her husband’s hands.

Well sold suhaag thal and designer sieve

On the occasion of Karva Chauth, there was a lot of sale of Karva, Suhag Thal and sieve in the market. Earthen karwa 60 rupees, steel karwa 150 rupees, designer karwa 180 to 200 rupees, small sieve 40 rupees, big sieve 80 rupees, designer sieve 120 rupees, suhaag thal 100 to 120 rupees, designer suhaag thal which includes karwa, sieve, chauth. Sold for Rs 380 with book and calendar. Glass bangles and bangles were also sold in abundance during the festival.

Queue to apply mehendi
