Civil Surgeon Dr Chandrabhanu Pratapan took stock of the preparations on Tuesday regarding the fear of the new variant of Corona, JN One. Regarding this, DRCHO Dr. Rohit Gaitam and other officials of the health department were present in the meeting held in the CS office auditorium. CS directed to make preparations as per the guidelines received from the Health Headquarters. He took information about the availability of beds in various hospitals, status of PSA oxygen plant, manpower etc. and gave necessary guidelines. He said that on Wednesday he will meet the Superintendent and Principal of SNMMCH to get information about the available resources for starting the testing of RTPCR samples in the Microbiology Department.
Testing will start soon in hospitals and health centers
CS Dr Chandrabhanu Pratapan said that soon samples of potential patients suffering from the new variant of Corona will be started in all the government hospitals and health centers of the district. For this, testing kits will be ordered from the headquarters as per requirement.
