Dr. Debabrata Giri, Deputy General Manager, Tata Motors, who lives in Telco, is expressing his feelings towards Lord Shri Ram in his own way. Debabrata has been collecting many ancient items including coins, postage stamps related to Lord Shri Ram, Hanuman ji and Ramayana since the age of seven. Over the last 27 years he has collected rare Hanuman paisa issued from the provincial state of Ratlam, various stamps on Lord Ram, Lakshman, Mata Sita and Ramayana issued in India and abroad. It has a collection of Ramayana descriptions, pictures of Maharishi Valmiki, Saint Tulsidas, Ramcharit Manas, Lord Parshuram published on various stamps from Indonesia and Nepal. Dr. Giri’s collection includes envelope covers issued in different years. It shows Ram Navami, Ayodhya Ram Temple Bhoomi Pujan, Deepotsav. The miniature sheet collection on Ramayana theme is a testament to his devotion to the hobby.
