Lucknow : Ayodhya Development Authority (ADA) has received 452 applications seeking approval to start homestay services at its residence. Out of this, the Development Authority has already approved 312 applications after on-site inspection and approval by the District Magistrate of Ayodhya. The rent of these homestays will range from ₹ 1500 to ₹ 2500 per day. The homestay centers approved by the Development Authority have also been verified by the Local Intelligence Unit (LIU) of Ayodhya Police. Rajesh Singh, an official of the development authority, said. “ADA has received 452 applications to start homestay facility. Out of this, 312 applications have been approved,” “After approval by ADA, the tourism department of the state government will implement guidelines for running these facilities.” The homestay facility is for the visitors to enjoy the local cuisine and culture of Awadh by staying with the local people. Vishal Singh, vice president of ADA, said the tourism department and development authorities will keep an eye on these centers to ensure their proper functioning. According to ADA, homestay centers are in great demand as they will provide an opportunity to connect with the local people. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the chief guest at the consecration ceremony of Ram Lalla along with RSS chief Mohan Bagwat. The Ayodhya administration and the state tourism department have estimated that the number of tourists in Ayodhya will increase manifold if the Ram temple is opened for devotees on the next day of the Pran Pratistha ceremony.
