Dev Deepawali in Varanasi 2023: Dev Diwali, the identity of Kashi’s cultural heritage, is in full swing. On the day of festival, Kashi will be decorated in new colors and colours. Bookings for hotels and lodges are full to see the amazing spectacle of lighting of 11 lakh lamps on the 84 ghats of the eight kilometer long crescent-shaped Ganga bank along with the sand on the other bank. Sand art works based on the art and culture of Varanasi will also be illuminated in the light of lamps. Electrical fireworks in the sand in front of Assi Ghat towards Ramnagar, praise of Shiva through laser show at the Ganga gate of Kashi Vishwanath Dham, image of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi being built in Ayodhya and Vikas Yantra along with the spiritual and cultural splendor of Kashi will be the center of attraction.
