Deoghar: Rs 2.89 lakh fine collected from 59 vehicles

Deoghar traffic police conducted a checking campaign and collected a fine of Rs 2,89,000 from 59 vehicles. According to the information given by Deoghar Police Media Cell, a total of 59 vehicles were checked in the checking campaign conducted at different places. During this period, licenses of 11 drivers were confiscated. Traffic cum CCR DSP in-charge said that a report will be sent to the DTO to suspend the seized license for three months. He has appealed to the people to follow the traffic rules. Apart from bike riders, passengers have also been requested to wear helmets and those riding four-wheelers to wear seat belts.

Bike collides with tree, driver injured

The bike rider was seriously injured after colliding with a tree on the Deoghar-Sultanganj road. With the help of local people, the injured bike rider Gopal Yadav, resident of Lalmatia, was brought to Sadar Hospital for treatment. After giving first aid, the on-duty doctor admitted him to the ward. According to the information, his bike collided with a tree when he lost his balance.
