Deoghar: A program was organized on the occasion of State Foundation Day and birth anniversary celebrations of Lord Birsa Munda in the auditorium of Shilpgram. It was inaugurated by chief guest Tourism Minister Hafizul Hasan. The Minister laid the foundation stone of schemes worth Rs. 7.89 crores like road, health center building etc. and gave benefits to the beneficiaries of various schemes including check of Rs. 11.20 crores to the women of Sakhi Mandal. While paying tribute to Birsa Munda, the Minister said that there is a need to take a resolution that we should cooperate with each other and make the name of Jharkhand even more proud with our actions. While sharing the work being done by the government under the leadership of Chief Minister Hemant Soren with the aim of realizing the dreams of the common people, he said that in 1932, a bill was passed for 27 percent reservation for Khatian and OBC, 28 percent for ST, 12 percent for SC. Minister enumerated the achievements of the government

He said that after the success of the Women’s Asian Hockey Championship in Jharkhand, qualifying matches for the Women’s Hockey World Cup will also be held in Ranchi. Hemant government has brought Abua Housing Scheme. In this, 50-60 needy people in each Panchayat will get Abuya housing. In this, the poor, disabled, widows and the poor will get priority. In this government, development of all people is the priority. The Tourism Department is developing small temples around Baba Baidyanathdham and Basukinath as tourist areas. A plan is underway to cordon off the graveyard for minorities.

Government should not cater to the program at your door: Minister

The minister said that under the ‘Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ program which will be running in the entire state from 24th November to 26th December, the government will go to your doorstep in all the panchayats. The Chief Minister himself is monitoring the entire program so that the last person can be benefited. The Minister gave strict instructions to the officers that there should be no food supply in the Government Aapke Dwar program. If the work for the needy is not done then action will be taken. He said that last year, a person from Devipur had got the approval for KCC loan in Sarkar Aapke Dwar, but till now the loan has not been received. This should be monitored.
