Deoghar: Police got big success, arrested six cyber criminals

Deoghar cyber police station, acting on secret information, conducted raids in three different police station areas and arrested six accused of cyber fraud. The raid team recovered 13 mobile phones and 21 fake SIM cards from the arrested cyber accused. According to the information given by the police media cell, among the arrested cyber accused are Vikram Kumar Das, Resham Kumar Das, resident of Lakhnuwan village of Madhupur police station area, Anil Das, resident of Pathraul of Pathraul police station area, Uttam Das and Ankit Kumar, resident of Basdiha village of Mohanpur police station area. Includes Capri and Pinkal Capri.

They used to withdraw money from the account on the pretext of withdrawing the money stuck in the app.

During interrogation, these cyber accused have revealed to the police that they used to cheat consumers by posing as fake phone-pay and Paytm customer care officers and taking their details. Apart from this, he used to call people posing as Airtel Payment Customer Officer. After taking the details on the pretext of withdrawing the money stuck in the above two apps, he withdraws the money from the account. Posing as bank officials with fake mobile numbers, they make series calls to the customers by luring the common people into shutting down and restarting the ATM. Transfers money from the account by taking details including OTP from the customers. After registering an FIR in this regard, the police presented the accused in the court. On the instructions of the court, the cyber police station sent these arrested accused to jail.
