Deoghar: OPD will start in the new building of AIIMS in December, three thousand patients can be treated.

MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey has said that in the new OPD, 100 percent service of doctors of super specialist department will be available, preparations are being done for this. The MP had also given an ultimatum to NBCC officials to handover the OPD building by the first week of December. At the same time, AIIMS management has directed to speed up the work of electricity and water connection in the new OPD building.

Deoghar AIIMS Director Dr. Saurabh Varshney said that preparations were on to start the new OPD building in November itself, but there was a delay due to lack of electricity and water connection. The target is to start OPD service in the new building from December. In this, services of all super specialist doctors will be available. At present 900 to 1000 patients are being treated in OPD. After shifting to the new building, there will be capacity to treat up to three thousand patients.
