The miscreants riding a bike snatched the purse from a woman who had come to attend a wedding ceremony in Shital Mallik Road area of Deoghar Nagar police station area and ran away. This incident is said to have happened around eight o’clock in the night. Victim woman Meenakshi Jha’s husband Uday Narayan Jha has lodged a complaint about the incident in the police station. She said that she is a resident of Banka. She had reached Deoghar to attend the wedding ceremony of one of her relatives. Sheetal was leaving Vikramshila Apartment on Mallik Road for the venue of the function at eight in the evening, when two miscreants riding a bike came nearby and snatched the purse she was holding in her hand and ran away. Five thousand rupees in cash, expensive mobile, gold earrings and nose ring were kept in the purse, the value of which would be around Rs 30 to 40 thousand.
