Deoghar: Most of the roads in Jarka Van Panchayat are unpaved, lack of health sub-centre is a big problem.

Deoghar: There are a total of 27 villages in Jarka Van Panchayat, whose total population is approximately 6,438. Scheduled Tribe population is 339, Scheduled Caste population is 563. There are five Anganwadi centers and three PDS shops in the area, to which 1192 ration card holders are connected. The number of packs is one. The number of PM residences is 623, of which eight are pending. The total number of voters is 4811, including 2602 men and 2209 women. There is no sub-health center in the area. But two ANMs work in the field. If we talk about basic facilities in the Panchayat area, there is a severe lack of it. Even today there are no paved roads in many villages. Due to lack of road in Birajpur village of Panchayat, people travel only with the help of footpath. In many villages including Bhikhodih, Danraidih, people remain troubled during rainy season due to unpaved roads. There are no means of irrigation for the farmers in the area. Water towers have been built in the villages under the Jal Nal Yojana. But most of them are lying idle in villages. For the education of boys and girls, there are many middle schools and primary schools including High School Tilakpur. For the convenience of the students, there are arrangements for ICT lab and vocational classes in Tilakpur High School, in which 1300 students are receiving education.
