Damage to paddy crops due to rain

There is a possibility of this drizzle causing damage to paddy crops also. Agricultural scientist from Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Sujani, Saun Chakraborty said that for those farmers who have not yet harvested the paddy, there is a possibility of rice rotting due to water entering the paddy. Farmers who have harvested paddy and kept it in the barn will have to immediately keep the paddy in safe places, protecting it from rain. Apart from this, as soon as the sun shines, paddy will have to be harvested from the fields. Maize crops are likely to benefit from this rain.
