Due to closure of CCTV of Baba Mandir, panic became active, dozens of phones stolen in two days

The CCTV cameras installed in Baba Mandir have been closed for more than a month and the control room is also lying idle. Due to the temple administration not yet getting it started, rioters have become active in the temple premises. In two days, mobile phones of more than two dozen devotees have been pickpocketed from the premises including Baba and Maa Parvati temple. The aggrieved devotees have also registered their complaint in the complaint book of Baba Mandir. According to the information, mobile phones of about 20 passengers were pickpocketed on Sunday itself. The phones of three members of the same family living in Darbhanga were blown up. In this regard, Joganand Singh said that when he went to the control room and requested to see the footage of the camera, he came to know that it was bad. Also, at 8 o’clock in the night, he was called during the day saying that it was not possible to see in the control room. He said that the CCTV in the control room of the big temple is malfunctioning and there is no one watching. The luggage of the passengers is safe here only with the trust of Baba. A few days ago, the temple in-charge cum SDM had told that the CCTV cameras would be repaired by Monday. But, it was not rectified even on Monday.
