Deoghar: Eastern Railway announces more special trains regarding Chhath festival, see complete time table

Deoghar: Due to not getting confirmed tickets for Chhath, the waiting list is getting longer. In view of this, Eastern Railway is starting two special trains between Howrah-Patna and Howrah-Gaya. With the operation of these two trains, there will be provision of 26,520 seats. This information was given by CPRO Kaushik Mitra. He told that 02303 Howrah-Patna special (via Dankuni) will leave from Howrah at 05:30. This train will reach Patna at 13:50 hrs on 19, 22, 23, 26, 29 and 30 November and on the same day, Train No. 02304 Patna – Howrah Special (via Dankuni) will depart from Patna at 14:40 hrs on 19, 22, It will reach Howrah at 23:00 on 23, 26, 29 and 30 November. These trains will stop at Bardhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur and Jasidih stations. Apart from this, train number 02381 Howrah-Gaya special (via Dankuni) will depart from Howrah at 06:50 hrs, which will reach Gaya at 14:30 hrs on 17th November, 20th, 24th and 27th November. On the same day, Train No. 02382 Gaya-Howrah Special (via Dankuni) will depart from Gaya at 15:20 hrs and reach Howrah at 23:00 hrs on 17, 20, 24 and 27 November. This train will also stop at Bardhaman, Durgapur and Asansol stations. Both the special trains will have the facility of AC chair car. Booking of 02381 Howrah-Gaya Special is available through PRS and Internet and date of booking tickets for 02303 Howrah-Patna Special will be informed soon. Special charges will be levied in addition to the mail/express fare. Concessional booking is not allowed in this and Tatkal quota will also not be available.

One way Chhath Puja special train from Howrah to Jabalpur

To meet the increasing demand of Chhath festival, Eastern Railway has announced one-way Chhath Puja special train from Howrah to Jabalpur. It was told that, 02307 Howrah-Jabalpur Chhath Special will depart from Howrah at 11:05 am on 17th November and will reach Jabalpur at 11:15 am the next day of the journey. This train will also stop at Bardhaman, Durgapur, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Madhupur and Jasidih stations under Eastern Railway jurisdiction en route.
