Deoghar: Baba Mandir remained empty on Monday. Devotees will start flocking to the temple from Akshay Navami on Tuesday. According to the temple’s estate priest Shrinath Pandit, the entire Kartik month is considered special for religious rituals. Along with Akshay Navami on Tuesday, Dashami on Wednesday, Devotthan Ekadashi on Thursday, devotees will start flocking for rituals including Mundan, Upanayan etc. in the month of Kartik.
Special puja was organized at Deoghar Gaushala on Gopashtami. On this occasion the cow shed has been decorated like a bride. Special puja was performed at Gopal Krishna temple. This time the Gaushala Committee is also organizing a fair for three days on Gopashtami. Shubhakaran Sultania, Ramesh Mundhra and Ramesh Bajla were present as chief hosts on behalf of the committee in the puja at Gopal Krishna Temple. After that, after worshiping the cow till 10:30, Mother Cow was also worshiped in Unit 2 of the Gaushala. After the puja was over, the Tuladan program was started by the committee, which continued till late evening. In this, people sat on the scale and donated fodder equal to their weight for the mother cow. All types of fodder were being provided by the Gau Shala Committee itself. The devotees who donated the balance were paying the fodder to the committee after weighing and getting the receipt. The annual convention program to be held at Gaushala from 6 pm on Monday was postponed. This program will be organized on Tuesday evening. The entire Ramayana film will be shown on the last day, Wednesday.
