Dengue sting continues in Bihar, one infected died, figure crossed 8154

Patna. The sting of dengue continues in Patna district. In this sequence, 54 new dengue victims were found in Patna district on Wednesday. With this, the number of dengue patients in the district has crossed 8154. However, on the other hand, the number of patients suffering from dengue is decreasing. Due to which beds are now becoming vacant in the ward. At present, the total number of patients admitted in dengue wards of four big hospitals of the city, PMCH, IGIMS, NMCH and Patna AIIMS Hospital, has reached 54. Of these, maximum 17 dengue patients are admitted in AIIMS, 16 in IGIMS, 16 in NMCH and five in PMCH. Meanwhile, Civil Surgeon Dr. Shravan Kumar said that the number of dengue victims has started decreasing in the district. He said that fogging is being done continuously in medical colleges, hospitals and primary health centers as well as investigation of suspicious people. Where kits are not available, arrangements are being made for testing kits.

Dengue took the life of a young man in Siwan, death toll reached four

The havoc of dengue in Siswan block is not showing any signs of stopping. Due to which the deaths of people are continuously increasing. On Thursday, a new patient died in a private hospital. So far four patients have died due to dengue in the block. The patient suffering from dengue who died is Deepak Soni, 30-year-old son of Prem Soni, resident of Chainpur Bazaar. Family members told that Deepak had fever four days ago. The family members got him treated and given medicine in a private clinic located in Chainpur. On Wednesday, when the condition of the youth deteriorated, the family admitted him to a private hospital in Patna, where dengue was confirmed. The young man died during treatment on Thursday morning.

Three people have died due to dengue

After the spread of dengue, the shortcomings of the administration are coming to light, which has exposed the entire system. The three people who have died due to dengue in the block area in the past few days include Ranjit Ram, 28 year old son of Shakanr Ram, resident of Chainpur Khalka Bazaar, Geeta Devi, wife of Tufani Chaudhary and Munna Ram, son of Baleshwar Ram. Local people say that Chainpur has now become the hub of dengue. The continuous deaths have shocked the market residents. Due to four deaths in the same locality, fear of dengue has spread among the people.

Six new dengue patients found

Six new dengue patients were found in Bhagalpur city on Thursday. These were found after investigation in JLNMCH. According to the Civil Surgeon Office, seven dengue patients have died so far in the district. At present, six serious dengue patients are being admitted to the HDU of the Medicine Department and are being treated. The total number of dengue patients has reached 1342. 15 suspected dengue patients were admitted to Mayaganj Hospital, while 15 patients were discharged after recovery.

Three new dengue patients found in the district, number reaches 593

Three new dengue patients have been identified in Begusarai district on Thursday also. Of the total 13 patients examined, three were found infected with dengue. In this way, the total number of patients in the district has increased from 590 to 593. Urban people were appealed to adopt other safety measures including wearing clothes covering the body, using mosquito nets and not allowing water to stagnate in waterlogged areas.

Nine new dengue patients found, number increased to 399

Dengue outbreak is continuously increasing in Kahalgaon block area. Nine dengue patients were found on Thursday. Now the number of dengue patients has increased to 399, but the health department is waiting for something bigger. In the sub-divisional hospital, Kahalgaon, the infected people have to be treated by keeping them in mosquito nets, so that other people do not get infected. Despite the dengue ward remaining empty in Sub-Divisional Hospital Kahalgaon on Thursday, dengue patients have been kept in the emergency and surgical rooms. In-charge Sub-Divisional Deputy Superintendent Dr. Anand Mohan said that dengue ward has been built on the second floor of the hospital. Due to shortage of staff and availability of emergency staff all the time, treatment is being done in the emergency ward. After Chhath Puja, patients will be kept in dengue ward.

Dengue cases started increasing again, 5 new patients found, total figure 789

The level of dengue infection has started increasing once again in Munger district. Due to which, in the last one week, two or three dengue patients were found in the ELISA test in the district. On Thursday, 5 new dengue patients were found in ELISA test. After which the total number of dengue patients found so far has reached 789. Sadar Hospital Deputy Superintendent Dr. Raman Kumar said that 5 new dengue patients were found in the ELISA test on Thursday. In which a patient was admitted to Sadar Hospital for treatment. Whereas during this period two patients were discharged. According to the data released by the Health Department, a total of 789 patients have been found infected with dengue in the district so far. Till Thursday, a total of 38 patients are being treated in the dengue ward built in the pre-fabricated hospital. In which 3 patients have been found positive in ELISA test. While the remaining 35 patients are suffering from suspected symptoms of dengue.
