Bihar News: The number of dengue patients is continuously increasing in Bihar. The number of patients has crossed 14 thousand. The number of patients in Patna is beyond six thousand. Due to this, people’s problems have increased a lot. During the last 24 hours, 381 new dengue patients have been found in the entire state. Among these patients, maximum 200 dengue patients have been found in Patna district, 20 in Bhagalpur, 17 in Munger, 14 in Siwan and 12 in Begusarai district. A total of 14649 dengue patients have been found in the state so far this year. This includes 7914 patients in 27 days of October. Let us tell you that 240 patients suffering from dengue are undergoing treatment in various medical college hospitals of the state. Patna district has the highest number of dengue infected people.
People are being made aware about dengue
If we talk about Muzaffarpur district, dengue patients are being found continuously here also. In this series, once again nine dengue patients have been found here. The number of patients is increasing here. At present, cases have started increasing in urban areas. On the other hand, dengue cases are less in rural areas. It is known that the number of patients in the urban area has reached close to 400. Nine new cases of dengue have been confirmed during investigation in SKMCH on Saturday. Both dengue and chikungunya have been found in two patients. District Vector Borne Disease Control Officer Dr. Satish Kumar has also given information about dengue patients. He has said that so far 378 dengue patients have been found in the district. Whereas, four patients have died due to dengue. He said that in the test report from the lab, nine new dengue patients have been found in the district. Patients admitted for treatment in SKMCH and private hospitals are being monitored. Fogging is also being done around the patient’s house. People are also being made aware about dengue. Every possible effort is being made to avoid this.
Many dengue patients recovered
The process of finding dengue patients continues in Bhagalpur district of the state also. Dengue has become a big problem here. It is said that 19 dengue patients were found here on Saturday. Of these, there are six patients in Sadar Hospital and 13 in Jawahar Lal Nehru Medical College and Hospital. Currently, the number of dengue patients in the district has reached 1161. So far five dengue patients have also died. According to the information, 23 suspected dengue patients were admitted to Mayaganj Hospital on Saturday. Also 23 dengue patients recovered. It is a matter of relief that in a way patients are being found. On the other hand, many patients are also recovering from dengue. At present 71 dengue patients are undergoing treatment in the hospitals of the district.
Patna has the highest number of dengue patients
The highest number of dengue patients is in Patna. After this, the number of patients in Bhagalpur itself is scaring people. Only in the month of October, seven thousand nine hundred and 14 patients were found. There has been a huge increase in the number of patients here this month. It is said that the maximum number of 81 patients were found in Patliputra region on Saturday. In the year 2019, 3647 patients were found in the month of October. In the year 2020, the number of dengue victims in the month of October was only 91. At the same time, it increased to 251 in 2021. After this, the number of victims increased to seven thousand six hundred five in 2022. But, in the month of October in 2023, it has crossed seven thousand.
