Dengue cases have increased manifold in the last years

According to media reports, till September last year, 185 cases of dengue were confirmed in Delhi. At the same time, this year this number has increased to around 2700. At the same time, many people have also died due to dengue.

Dengue patients increased due to flood

DEN-2 variant of dengue increases concern in Ghaziabad
According to a report in Hindustan Times, DEN-2 variants of dengue have been found in Ghaziabad, NCR. Actually, samples of 50 patients with dengue symptoms were sent to Lucknow for genome sequencing. Of these, 5 patients were confirmed to be infected with DEN-2 variant of dengue. Let us tell you, four variants of dengue have emerged – DEN-1, DEN-2, DEN-3, DEN-4. Among these, DEN-2 is the most infectious.
