After the Friday prayers, the students took out a protest march from Jama Masjid to Bobde Sayeed Gate. During this, the students shouted slogans against the Nitish government. The students have demanded from the President that the rights of the Muslim community in Bihar should be protected. The students said that the Quran was burnt in mosques and madrassas in Bihar and Muslims were attacked. Innocent Muslims have been arrested in the incident. The students have demanded the release of innocent people from the Bihar government. Along with this, whose family has suffered losses in the incident. They have demanded compensation. On the other hand, the Bihar government should rebuild the mosque and dargah which have been damaged.
Students said – Where there is oppression, AMU students speak there
Student Mohammad Jamshed said that the Bihar government has torn democracy to shreds. Politicians create riots on the basis of Hindu-Muslim, but in our society, Hindu brothers maintain harmony by participating in Rosa Iftar. Student leader Arif Tyagi said that he condemns the incident in Bihar Sharif. Where there is oppression, the students of AMU speak there. Whom should we blame for the incident that has happened in Bihar? It includes BJP, RSS, Bajrang Dal and Nitish Sarkar, all have complicity in the incident because Muslims are being targeted. Since 2014, there is a culture of killing Muslims to gain fame. No one will be punished in this, because the law, court and court all belong to them. Arif told that the election of 2024 is about to come, that’s why this drama is going on.
Students said – compensation should be given for the damage done in this incident
AMU student Imran told that whatever video has come out so far. The involvement of Bajrang Dal has come to the fore in it. At the same time, the Bihar government did not take any action on him, nor arrested him. On the other hand, people from the Muslim community were arrested and sent to jail. Imran said that by giving a memorandum to the President, he has demanded that the innocent Muslims who have been arrested by the Bihar government should be released. During this, AMU Proctor Wasim Ali said that after the prayers, the students have taken out a protest march. Submitted a memorandum addressed to the President. In which the students have demanded an inquiry according to the law into the mosques which have been damaged in Bihar Sharif. At the same time some innocent Muslims have been arrested.
