Demand of AAP leader Atishi – LG should take action against the officers responsible for the death of common people

Delhi cabinet minister Atishi told Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena to take action against the officials whose alleged negligence led to the death of two people in separate incidents at Harsh Vihar and LNJP Hospital. He also said that the Lieutenant Governor is empowered to take such action under the Centre’s Ordinance on Control of Services.

Atishi claimed in the letter

In a letter written to the Lieutenant Governor, Atishi claimed, I want to tell you that until the court’s decision on this black ordinance comes. You should take immediate action against these careless officers. Due to their negligence two lives were lost. He said in the letter, you should break your silence and take immediate action, otherwise the people of Delhi will continue to face trouble like this.

A laborer died due to electrocution

Auto driver Ajit Sharma (51) was returning home after dropping a passenger at East Delhi’s Bhajanpura on Friday when his auto got stuck in a puddle filled with rainwater near Wazirabad Road, officials said. When he came out to push the car, he fell into the pit and drowned. Officials told that today a laborer died due to electrocution in an under-construction building of LNJP Hospital.
