Delhi Weather: Sudden change in weather in Delhi NCR, heavy rain after strong storm

Delhi Weather: The weather took a turn in the country’s capital Delhi after Saturday afternoon. Suddenly heavy storm and rain started. Due to bad weather, 22 flights were diverted in Delhi. In which 8 Lucknow, 9 Jaipur and 2 Chandigarh flights were diverted. One flight each from Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad was diverted.

The maximum temperature of Delhi will drop by 4 to 5 degrees Celsius in the next two days.

The Meteorological Department had said that the maximum temperature in the national capital Delhi is expected to fall from the current 39 degrees Celsius to around 33 degrees Celsius in the next two days. The Meteorological Department said that the reason for the drop in maximum temperature was the active western disturbance. The effect of western disturbance will be felt till 18th and 19th April, so till then the temperature will not reach 40 degree Celsius.
