Delhi Weather Forecast: The country’s capital Delhi is getting drenched due to monsoon showers. Heavy rains have given relief from the scorching heat, but heavy rains have become a cause of trouble in many areas. Due to the rain, the weather has become pleasant in the entire NCR including Delhi. At the same time, due to heavy rains, there has been a situation of waterlogging in many areas of Delhi-NCR. The roads are filled with water. Due to which the common people are facing a lot of trouble in movement. In many areas in Delhi, water has been stuck up to the knees.

Due to heavy rains in many areas including Sikandra, Vinod Nagar, ITO, jam situation has arisen. Vehicles kept moving on the waterlogged roads. After the rains, due to waterlogging and long traffic jams, people remained stranded throughout the day.

3 mm of rain in Delhi – Meteorological Department

Regarding the rains in Delhi, the Meteorological Department said that a total of 3 mm of rain has been recorded in the national capital today i.e. in the 24-hour period that ended at 8.30 am on Saturday. Due to the rain in Delhi on Saturday morning, many passengers were inconvenienced. They faced difficulties in reaching their destination. IMD has said that the sky of Delhi will remain cloudy throughout the day on Saturday. According to the Meteorological Department, the minimum temperature in the state was recorded at 25 degrees Celsius, three notches below normal.

Rain will continue in Delhi – IMD

IMD scientist ‘F’ and chief Charan Singh has said about the weather that for the next 2 to 3 days, there will be good rains in the hilly areas of Uttarakhand, Jammu-Kashmir and Himachal Pradesh including Delhi NCR. We have issued an alert for heavy to very heavy rainfall for Jammu and Kashmir and extremely heavy rainfall for Himachal and Uttarakhand. We have also issued an alert for Punjab, Delhi, Haryana. We have warned of heavy to very heavy rain for Delhi.
