Red Fort

India Gate
India Gate is a major monument located in the city of Delhi. It is a symbol of the bravery of the Indian freedom struggle and here the sacrifice of the Indian Army is remembered. The construction of India Gate started in 1931 and was completed in 1933. It was built in memory of the soldiers of the Indian Army in the last years of the British Empire. Its height is about 42 meters. The names of the main military heroes of the Indian freedom struggle have been written on it. Below this, there is a tribute stupa near the Rajpath, which is called “Amar Jawan Jyoti”. It keeps burning in the memory of the heroes.

Lodhi Garden
The Lodhi Garden built in the south is very beautiful. There are tombs of Lodhi dynasty in the middle of the garden. It had monuments of Sayyid and Lodi dynasty in 15th-16th century.
