The Delhi government launched the ‘Red Light On, Gaadi Off’ campaign on October 28 to make motorists aware of the rising pollution and encourage them to switch off the engines of their vehicles while waiting for the traffic light to turn green.
The air quality index (AQI) in the city was recorded at 351 on Thursday morning, which reached 450 on Friday morning.
