The 17 km long priority section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor that will be inaugurated will connect Sahibabad with ‘Duhai Depot’ along with Ghaziabad, Guldhar and Duhai stations. The Prime Minister had laid the foundation stone of Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut Corridor on 8 March 2019.
PM Modi will inaugurate the country’s first rapid rail today
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the priority section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut RRTS corridor at Sahibabad RapidX station in Uttar Pradesh today. He will also flag off the RapidX train connecting Sahibabad to Duhai depot marking the launch of the Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) in India.
