Delhi Liquor Policy: Kejriwal currently has no relief from the Supreme Court

Delhi Liquor Policy: Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has not got relief from the Supreme Court at present. The Supreme Court has postponed Kejriwal’s petition for the week starting from April 29. At the same time, the Supreme Court has also asked ED to file its reply on or before April 24. Senior lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi, appearing for Kejriwal, told the Supreme Court that he was arrested to deprive him of election campaign.

Supreme Court gave notice to ED

Let us tell you, the petition of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, arrested in the money laundering case related to Delhi Liquor Policy, was heard in the Supreme Court. The Supreme Court issued a notice to the Enforcement Directorate on the petition of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, in which he has challenged his arrest by the ED and his subsequent remand in the excise policy case.

Supreme Court refused to hear soon

On Arvind Kejriwal’s demand for early hearing, the Supreme Court said that this is not possible. Actually, Abhishek Manu Singhvi, who appeared in the court on behalf of Arvind Kejriwal, had demanded an early hearing citing the elections, but the court said that such an early hearing is not possible.
