The arrest was done on the orders of Amit Shah.
Special CP HGS Dhaliwal of Delhi Special Cell told, Deepak Boxer is involved in 10 sensational cases since last 5 years. He told, according to the order of Union Home Minister Amit Shah, the Special Cell and Crime Branch have started searching for people who fled abroad.
Deepak Boxer had fled to Dubai by making a fake passport
Delhi Police official said, Deepak Boxer had fled to Dubai in January this year by making a fake passport. He kept traveling to different countries and reached Mexico. Two experienced officers of Special Cell of Delhi Police went to Mexico. Deepak Boxer was arrested with the help of Mexico Police and FBI. Our team will bring him to India on Wednesday. The police had announced a reward of three lakh rupees for giving information that would help in the arrest of Deepak.
Accused of murder of builder Amit Gupta
according to the police Gangster Deepak Boxer He was wanted in connection with the murder of builder Amit Gupta, who was shot dead in north Delhi’s Burari area on August 23 last year. Ankit Gulia, the ‘sharpshooter’ of the Gogi-Deepak ‘Boxer’ gang, allegedly killed Gupta. Deepak claimed responsibility for Gupta’s murder on Facebook, saying he was killed because of his proximity to the rival Tillu gang.
They suspected that Gupta had tipped off the police about Fajja, who was killed in an encounter in 2021. Deepak was running the ‘Gogi gang’ after the murder of gangster Jitendra Mann alias Gogi at the Rohini court complex in Delhi . Gogi was shot dead on 24 September 2021 by two assailants. The attackers were also killed in retaliatory action by the police.
