Delhi: Female pilot and her husband thrashed for harassing minor, police arrested

Couple Thrashed In Dwarka : In Delhi’s Dwarka, a woman pilot and her husband got caught by the mob. The allegation was that a 10-year-old girl was kept by these two to work in the house and she is being tortured. As soon as this information came to the people around there, a crowd gathered outside their house and people thrashed the couple fiercely. Please tell that the husband of the pilot wife is also an airline employee. Both were arrested by the police.

Case registered under section 323, 324, 342 and child labor act

Dwarka DCP M Harsh Vardhan said that both the husband and wife have been arrested for employing a 10-year-old girl as a domestic help and torturing her. Earlier the medical examination of the girl has been done and a case has been registered under sections 323, 324, 342 IPC and Child Labor Act, 75 JJ Act. Earlier both the accused were taken into custody by the Delhi Police.

Information was received about misbehavior with a child’s domestic help at 9 am

According to the information, the Dwarka police station was informed about the misbehavior with the domestic help of a child at around 9 am. It was learned that a couple had hired a 10-year-old girl as a domestic help for the last 2 months. Also, the couple allegedly thrashed her. It is being told that on Wednesday a relative of the girl noticed this and after that a crowd gathered at the couple’s residence and they were assaulted/manhandled.

10 year old girl kept as domestic help

Giving details of the action taken in the case, Dwarka DCP M. Harsh Vardhan told media agency ANI, “We reached the spot and found that a 10-year-old girl has been kept as a domestic help by a couple. Her medical An investigation was conducted, which revealed some injuries and burn marks. A case has been registered. Both the husband and wife have been detained and are being arrested. The child has been counselled.”
