Here, the Delhi High Court on Friday questioned the Forest Department for carelessly giving permission for felling of trees without giving any reason for giving permission and also held the department responsible for the filth prevailing in the capital due to pollution. According to a report of Hindustan Times, the Forest Department is responsible for the mess in which the citizens of Delhi are today due to pollution. The court questioned the department and asked whether you want people to live in gas chambers. Justice Jasmeet Singh said this while considering a contempt petition on giving permission to cut trees without giving any reason.
