Delhi: Amrit Kalash Yatra organized in Hindu College, slogans of ‘Mera Desh Meri Mati’ raised.

There is nothing more valuable than the soil of the country. India is a country where its people have made huge sacrifices for their culture and independence. While inaugurating the Amrit Kalash Yatra under Meri Maati Mera Desh at Hindu College, Delhi on Thursday, Principal Prof. Anju Srivastava said that Hindu College is also a real representative of Indian culture, where students from Kashmir to Kanya Kumari come to study. He described patriotism as the greatest value.

Students, teachers and non-teaching staff participated in this yatra under the aegis of National Service Scheme. The volunteers were addressed by Prof. Antony Devasia of Philosophy, Dr. Abdul Rahim Ansari of Economics and Prof. Rachna Singh of Hindi. In this yatra held in the college campus, students from almost every state of the country offered the soil of the country in Amrit Kalash. The volunteers traveled raising slogans like ‘Mera Desh Meri Mati Goa Ho Ya Gauhati’. In the end, Program Officer of National Service Scheme, Dr. Pallav expressed his gratitude to everyone.
