Delhi Air Quality: Delhi’s air quality index is expected to improve in the next two-three days.

Delhi Air Quality: People are suffering due to air pollution in Delhi. Meanwhile, what Delhi’s Environment Minister Gopal Rai has said is a relief. Yes…he said on Thursday that the air quality in the country’s capital Delhi is likely to improve in the next two to three days. Some improvement is expected in the pollution recorded in the ‘very poor’ category. He said that the Delhi government will continue the ban on some vehicles. The government has decided to continue the restrictions under the third phase of ‘Grape’.

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai said the air quality index (AQI) is likely to improve from the “very poor” category in the coming days. Referring to the ‘Graded Response Action Plan’ (GRAP) rules, he said that the ban on some vehicles will continue under this rule. Talking about the third phase of GRAP, under this, the ban on BS 3 petrol and BS 4 diesel vehicles still continues in Delhi.

Amidst the increasing pollution, Gopal Rai said that if scientists are to be believed, the air quality may improve in the coming two-three days. According to the current situation in the capital, our government has decided that restrictions under the third phase of ‘Grape’ will continue in Delhi. Rai further said that the restrictions under the fourth phase of ‘GRAP’ have been revised and now include restrictions on BS3 petrol and BS4 diesel vehicles with All India Permit (AIP), which are required to first enter Delhi. Was allowed.

He said that if Delhi’s air quality deteriorates in future and the fourth phase of ‘GRAP’ is implemented again, then such vehicles will be banned from entering the national capital. Appealing to residents to follow the rules, Rai said that if the rules are violated, the state government can take more stringent steps to curb air pollution in the city. The central government on Saturday ordered the cancellation of restrictions imposed under the fourth phase of ‘GRAP’ after improvement in air quality due to favorable wind speed in Delhi-NCR.
