Dead body of a sanitation worker found hanging in Patratu, Ramgarh.

Ramgarh: In Patratu, Ramgarh, early on Sunday morning, the body of Vishwajit Ram alias Kaluram (55 years), working as a sweeper in the Electricity Department, was found hanging in the shed of the cremation ground located at Kali Mandir. When people nearby went out for a morning walk, they saw the dead body. After this, this information was immediately given to the local police and family members.

Immediately after receiving the information, the police reached the spot and did the Panchnama of the body and sent it for post-mortem. The information about the incident spread like wildfire in the area. After this, a huge crowd of nearby people including area head Kishore Kumar Mahato, Rahul Ranjan, social worker Jaiprakash Singh, Dharmendra Singh, AJSU leader Nityanand Kumar, Chandan Kumar gathered there.

According to family members, like every day, the deceased had gone out to clean the temple between 4:00 and 5:00 in the morning before leaving for duty. It is said that he was in depression for many days. The clear cause of depression has not been found yet. But if people are to be believed, he was troubled by the FIR lodged by his elder son’s wife regarding dowry harassment. Due to this he was also called to Ramgarh police station. It is suspected that for this reason he took this step.
