Agra. The workers of Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha raised slogans regarding the problems prevailing in Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University and the student union elections and locked the gate of the university. Workers of Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha told that every day hundreds of children are roaming in the university regarding results, admission and all kinds of problems. But the problems of children are not solved by the university. Also, student union elections are not being conducted by the university. We have given a memorandum to the Vice Chancellor regarding this. Workers of Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha reached the university on Tuesday shouting slogans. University security personnel stopped them, after which the workers put a chain on the university gate and locked it. And shouting slogans, the Vice Chancellor moved towards the Secretariat. The workers also locked the gate near the Vice Chancellor’s Secretariat. Metropolitan President of Samajwadi Chhatra Sabha, Amit Pratap said that the university has put a lock on the future of the students. Neither the results are being released on time nor the children are able to take admission. The university has not yet released the final year graduation results. Whereas admissions in many universities have also ended.

Only assurance is given to solve the problems

Amit Pratap told that the children are worried about their future. But the university officials are paying no attention. Children are continuously visiting the university with their problems. But they are only given assurances while their problems are not being resolved. The workers sat at the gate of the university to submit a memorandum to the Vice Chancellor. For a long time the Vice Chancellor did not reach the university gate to collect the memorandum. Student organizations have been protesting for a long time for the student elections in the university. Earlier, NSUI had also demonstrated in the university. In such a situation, the gates were closed by the security personnel. But NSUI workers broke the lock on the gate and kept raising slogans for a long time to meet the Vice Chancellor.
