DBAU: Dates of AUT elections announced, members of the University Teachers Association will elect their president on 21st.

Agra. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University Teachers Association has announced the elections. Nominations for the elections will start from December 18. And voting will conclude on 21st December. The 3-year tenure of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University Teachers Association is completing. Regarding which elections have been announced. A meeting of the Executive Committee was held on Wednesday in the presence of Dr. Virendra Singh Chauhan, President of Agra Phupukta. Acting President Dr. Anuradha Gupta presided over the meeting. The problems and solutions encountered during the 3-year tenure were also discussed in the meeting. The members were also thanked for the protests and struggles etc. carried out in the interests of teachers during the last 3 years. The executive thanked all the members for their support. Election will be held on 20 posts including President and General Secretary

Let us tell you that elections are held on 20 posts in AUT. In which there is one President, three Vice Presidents, one General Secretary, two Joint Secretaries, one Treasurer, 2 Phupukta Daily, 10 Executive Members. AUTA has around 900 voting members and 27 colleges in four districts are associated with this association.

Biometric Attendance System Issue in Higher Education

In the meeting held in the AUT office located in the university, there was opposition to adding biometric attendance system in higher education. Teachers said that this violates the dignity of teachers. Phupukta President had also met the Higher Education Minister in this regard. Auta along with Phupukta have decided to protest against this system. Also, every teacher of the college units will write a letter to the Higher Education Department. In the meeting of AUTA Executive, General Secretary Dr. Bhupendra Kumar Chikara, Dr. Shashikant Pandey, Dr. Gaurav Kaushik, Dr. Amar Kumar Dhariwal, Dr. Digvijay Pal Singh, Dr. Shiv Kumar Singh, Dr. Nirmal Singh, Dr. Nirbhay Singh, Dr. Poonam Tiwari, Dr. Anurag Paliwal, Dr. Kuldeep Singh, Dr. MP Singh, Dr. Praveen Kumar Sharma, Dr. Sunil Babu Chaudhary, Dr. Vijay Narayan Singh were present.

Nomination will be held on 18th December

The date of elections was announced by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar University Teachers Association. According to which nomination will be held on 18th December and withdrawal of nominations will be on 19th December. Counting and voting will be done on 21st December. Whose constituency will be BVRI Bichpuri. Professor Seema Bhadoria Principal BVRI, Bichpuri, Professor Vijay Kumar Singh Principal Narayan College Shikohabad, Professor Praveen Agarwal KR College Mathura, Professor Vipin Agarwal Bichpuri Campus, Agra have been made returning officers. Dr. Virendra Singh Chauhan, President Phupukta, Professor Pradeep Kumar Singh, General Secretary Phupukta, have been made election observers. Dr. YN Tripathi, East Phupukta Secretary, Dr. Chandrashekhar Sharma, former AUT President, Dr. Ranjit Singh Bhadoria, former AUT General Secretary, Dr. AK Gupta, former Principal of Agra College, have been given the charge of the Grievance Redressal Cell. And in the election coordination committee, Dr. Anuradha Gupta, President, AUTA, Dr. Bhupendra Kumar Chikara, General Secretary, AUTA, Dr. SK Pandey, Joint Secretary, AUTA, Professor Nirbhay Singh Phupukta Delegate, Kota, Dr. Gaurav Kaushik, Executive Member, AUTA have been included.
