Two flights coming from Delhi to Darbhanga were cancelled. One flight each from Kolkata, Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Mumbai was cancelled. However, due to lack of information, many passengers had reached the airport in the cold to board the plane. People looked angry after getting information about cancellation of service.

There was panic among the passengers who reached the airport due to the news of flight cancellation due to adverse weather. Although the respective airlines had given information about the cancellation of flights on their websites, many passengers had already reached Darbhanga Airport. People said that they were not informed on time.

Flying starts after three years after 58 years
It is said that it has been more than three years since commercial flights started again from Darbhanga Airport, but there is a severe lack of facilities here. Due to bad weather and night, the facility of arrival and departure of flights has not been available here till now. Ground lighting work has not been completed yet. In such a situation, as soon as the weather becomes bad, the process of flight cancellation starts from the airport. Let us tell you that all the flights were canceled on 2nd and 10th January in the year 2023 and also on 5th, 6th January and 22nd December in the year 2022.
