It has the capacity to lift load up to about 20 kg. It is generally used to handle improvised explosive devices. High resolution cameras have also been installed in Daksh Mini, so that the person controlling it can handle it better.

The specialty of both these rovers is their portability. The master controls of both can be fitted in the backpack and can be carried anywhere.
